Deaconess, Parish Nurse, and Coordinator of the Church Health Ministry

Kati brings to the board a strong sense of community health awareness specifically from her background in nursing. Like her fellow board members her commitment precedes her in many ways that include hosting community forums for East Baltimore’s Bridges to Better Health Project and Injury Free Kids Coalition on lead contamination resulting from current demolition practices. As a parish nurse and coordinator of the church health ministry, Kati has implemented and overseen a number of activities aimed at improving the health conditions in the community. Her primary target area has been the McElderry Park Community, but her role on the board as an advisor/advocate will have impact throughout the entire community.
